“Movie and Popcorn” Raider Pride Party & Miss Hefner’s Last Volunteer Day

For our second quarter Raider Pride party, we voted to have a "Movie and Popcorn" party.  So, we watched "Hercules" since we had been learning about different types of folktales like myths, legends, etc.

Unfortunately, this was also Miss Hefner's last day of volunteering since she had to go back to college the following week.  She even brought us super yummy Scotcharoos!  :)  Thank you, Miss Hefner!  We will miss you!  Good luck this semester!

“Just Dance” AR Party:)

For our second quarter Accelerated Reading party, we voted to have a "Just Dance" party.  So, of course that meant we got to show off our 'mad dancing skills' with our favorite songs like "Who Let the Dogs Out," "Eye of the Tiger," etc.

Sharing Our Own Books with KA and KB

After reading several "If You Give a..." books by Laura Numeroff, we were ready to write our very own.  After typing them up and illustrating them, we wanted to share them with KA and KB.  We hope that they liked them as much as we did.  :)

Pajama Day = Fun Reading Friday!

Today was “Pajama Day!” We couldn’t think of a better way to spend it than curling up with a good book. :) (Well, at least for an hour or so.;)
