Happy Halloween!!! :)

In honor of the best holiday, Halloween, coming up, we decided to paint pumpkins...just not the way that you would think.  We drew and painted our own pumpkins full of expressions!  This week, we will be using our imaginations and artwork to write creative narratives about our pumpkins.  Each story must include three main characters, a setting (time and place) that makes sense, a problem that arises, a few ways of how the characters try to solve that problem, and a solution to the problem--how they actually solved it.  We can't wait to see what we come up with.  :)

We ❤️ our Playground!

This was our first day that we got to play on our new and improved playground. It was AWESOME!!! We had so much fun! Thank you to the Payne Elementary PTO for making such a wonderful place for us to play! :)

"I Love This School!" Assembly

3A had a blast during our "I Love This School!" assembly this Friday. Billy Craig & "friends" sang some very silly songs about school that made us just to our feet and dance! :)

Then we got to take a picture with him! :)

Rounding Review

Last week, we played several fun games to practice rounding to the nearest 10 and nearest 100.

Reading Buddies

We love to read with buddies! We read a funny book called "My Rotten Redheaded Older Brother" by Patricia Polacco. Most of us could really relate to this story--since most of us are either a big brother/sister or little brother/sister.

Soldier Surprise!

Last week, our class was honored to have a very special guest show up at school. Kaden's uncle, Alan, has been in the Air Force for the past six months. So when Kaden's mom called and asked if they could come in as a surprise, of course, I said yes! Kaden was so happy!:) Then, Alan came in and talked to the class about what it's like to be in the Air Force.

Dayna and Alan, thank you so much for letting us be a part of this very special surprise!:) And, Alan, thank you for serving our country.
