To finish up with our "Biome GO!" project, we took the information that we learned about how animals used their special adaptations to survive in their biome and elevated it. We wrote an opinion essay stating the following: "I think that by having the special power of _______________ my "Biome GO!" animal, the ______________________, would better survive in the (its biome). Then they had to state three REALLY good reasons why and support each reason with very good examples. Next, they had to include a good conclusion to wrap it all up. They also needed to organize this information into five separate paragraphs: introduction, first reason and examples, second reason and examples, third reason and examples, and conclusion. Finally, they had to draw and color their animal in its biome showing that special power. They had a lot of fun with this--although it was a bit of a challenge. ;) I am very proud of them. :) Below are their projects:
