For "Severe Weather Awareness Week," 3rd grade participated in their annual poster contest by creating their own posters telling people about several kinds of severe weather such as tornadoes, lightning, thunderstorms, flooding, and extreme cold/heat. Then Mr. Ogle (our Art teacher) and Mrs. Dunham (our principal) judged the posters. They chose the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place winners. The winners were: 1st place- Clay Stoller, 2nd place- Stella Laukhuf, and 3rd place- Chloe Murphy.
Clay's poster will be sent in to be judged by the Regional judges and possibly move on to the State level. Good luck, Clay! :)
I am super proud of all of the 3rd graders! Come in and see all of their posters! They are displayed on the first floor wall in between the girls' restroom and the cafeteria. :)
