Meet Mrs. Erin Schmidt, our School Guidance Counselor

This year, Mrs. Schmidt will be working with the students on character education.  Each month, she will be focusing on one character trait at a time.  This month's character trait is "courage."  She talked to the students how we need to have courage a lot at school to try new things, to challenge ourselves, etc. That also goes right along with our Growth Mindset unit.  She read us part of the book called "Creepy Carrots" and had us write one of our fears on a carrot.  Then she will put them on a poster in our hallway to remind us that we are the ones who has the most power to overcome our fears.
