This week, we reread our Reading story with a buddy. We talked about how we should sit with our buddies so that we can help each other with words in case we get stuck. We need to sit "EEKK" which means 'elbow to elbow, knee to knee.' We also talked about what it means to "whisper" instead of talking. When we whisper, we cannot feel vibrations on our throats. But, when we talk, we do feel vibrations. Another thing that we talked about was how should we take turns reading. We decided that it would be good to have one person read one page, and then the next one read the next page and so on. Finally, we talked about how we can "quiz" each other about what we just read. That way we are checking to see if each of us understood the story. If not, then we will reread the parts that were confusing before we take the AR test individually.
