"Reading Stirs the Imagination"

Our ghost buddies decided to show up and make their own reading suggestions.  Look closely at each book...they are REAL ghost stories that we can find in the library.  Okay, not REAL ghost stories, but...are they still called 'ghost stories' if ghosts are reading them? 😉  Have fun reading!

3rd Grade's Expressive Pumpkins

This week, we painted some very expressive pumpkins!  They are actually going to be our characters in our creative writing story that we are going to be starting next week.  We can't wait to see what happens to our pumpkin characters!

Paulding County Map Search

To wrap up our mapping unit and to kick off our Paulding County History Unit, we were given the task of using an alphanumeric grid map to find some important places in our county.

After we finished finding all of those places, we were given some time [and a magnifier :)] to look more closely at the map to see if we could find even more 'interesting' things.  For example, we found something called a 'stone canal aquaduct.'  We wondered what that was, but Mrs. Pfeiffer said that we would have to wait until we started our Paulding County History booklet to find out.  Ughhhh! The suspense!  ;)
