EDIBLE ROCKS?!?!?

We had been studying about the three types of rocks (sedimentary, igneous, and metamorphic) in Science. So, just for fun, Mrs. Pfeiffer brought in "edible rocks!" Don't worry. They really were edible. She brought in Kit Kat bars, 3 Muskateers bars, Butterfinger bars, and Fruity Pebbles treat bars. We had to figure out which type of rock each were most like and WHY in order to be able to eat them.
We discovered that the Fruity Pebbles treat bar is similar to a conglomerate rock so it was a "sedimentary rock." The Kit Kat bar was made of layers (one being more coarse than the others). That was also a "sedimentary rock." The 3 Muskateers bar was similar to a slowly cooled igneous rock because of the holes inside. Finally, we found that the Butterfingers bar was most like a metamorphic rock because of how its layers looked like they were under a lot of hear and pressure.
