On February 28, 2017, we had our Fractured Fairy Tale V.I.P. Day. It was a way to show how hard the 3rd graders worked on this FUN AND CHALLENGING project. First, after brainstorming with their families, they had to write their VERY OWN fractured fairy tale on the computer. Then, they revised and peer-edited their stories. Next, they worked with Mrs. Pfeiffer to be sure that their stories sounded okay and made sense. After that, they illustrated their stories on Power Point. During this time (at home), they worked on their trifold. On V.I.P. Day, they got to dress as one of their characters, display their trifold which tells more about their story, and read their stories to students, parents, grandparents, teachers, etc. It was A LOT OF FUN!!!!!
